New changes and some tattoos

Hello! Cat writing here to share some latest news once more. It’s been now a bunch of months already but since new year I made the decision to leave Das Kabinett and move to Sticks and Stones Berlin. As an artist there’s always need to improve and I am someone who doesn’t want to stay too comfortable in a place and challenge myself in order to grow – this is why it felt the right moment to take this new step into my life! Sticks and Stones have a big catalogue of amazing artists and a very lovely café too, you are all invited to come to visit the studio. You can find it in Donaustrasse 94, 12043, Berlin.

This is me at the studio planning who of my co-workers I will annoy next

Anyway there are some more tattoos to share now! Ooooooookaaayyy let’s go.

These chrysantemum’s are around a year old! Made on the lovely Khang. They also decided later to add another piece, more art nouveau inspired on their ribs :). Managed to catch them this morning actually to make some nice pictures of both healed pieces. I asked them to touch up a bit the color of the chrysantemum but Khang didn’t felt like going through some pain hahaha so we will in the future! Anyway I love how the tattoo is looking at the moment.

I am very grateful for all my customers, especially the people that I am so lucky that I can work with several times throughout the years. Feels like growing old next to them and it’s a very magical feeling.

Next is Carl! Been working with him for very long now and we are getting closer to finish this huge falcon.

Carl’s falcon

I think there’s only around 2-3 sessions left to finish this one. Thank you Carl you are truly amazing!

Now there’s another WIP in here:

Mariella’s Alphonse Mucha legsleeve
Details from Mariella’s tattoo

This is one of the craziests legs I’ve been working on. Still a bunch more to go, Mariella is so strong and amazing! It’s based on Alphonse Mucha’s Summer piece. I added some things on my own too so I could adapt properly Mucha’s painting to work as a tattoo. I am very proud of how this leg is turning as I am truly trying my best to pay homage to one of my biggest influences in art and a master truly.

Anyway this is it for this update! Thanks everyone checking out this space in here. My books are open in Berlin and planning my regular guest spots at Vienna… maybe Helsinki in the future. If you want to get in touch with me about a project write to my e-mail 🙂
