New changes and some tattoos

Hello! Cat writing here to share some latest news once more. It’s been now a bunch of months already but since new year I made the decision to leave Das Kabinett and move to Sticks and Stones Berlin. As an artist there’s always need to improve and I am someone who doesn’t want to stay too comfortable in a place and challenge myself in order to grow – this is why it felt the right moment to take this new step into my life! Sticks and Stones have a big catalogue of amazing artists and a very lovely café too, you are all invited to come to visit the studio. You can find it in Donaustrasse 94, 12043, Berlin.

This is me at the studio planning who of my co-workers I will annoy next

Anyway there are some more tattoos to share now! Ooooooookaaayyy let’s go.

These chrysantemum’s are around a year old! Made on the lovely Khang. They also decided later to add another piece, more art nouveau inspired on their ribs :). Managed to catch them this morning actually to make some nice pictures of both healed pieces. I asked them to touch up a bit the color of the chrysantemum but Khang didn’t felt like going through some pain hahaha so we will in the future! Anyway I love how the tattoo is looking at the moment.

I am very grateful for all my customers, especially the people that I am so lucky that I can work with several times throughout the years. Feels like growing old next to them and it’s a very magical feeling.

Next is Carl! Been working with him for very long now and we are getting closer to finish this huge falcon.

Carl’s falcon

I think there’s only around 2-3 sessions left to finish this one. Thank you Carl you are truly amazing!

Now there’s another WIP in here:

Mariella’s Alphonse Mucha legsleeve
Details from Mariella’s tattoo

This is one of the craziests legs I’ve been working on. Still a bunch more to go, Mariella is so strong and amazing! It’s based on Alphonse Mucha’s Summer piece. I added some things on my own too so I could adapt properly Mucha’s painting to work as a tattoo. I am very proud of how this leg is turning as I am truly trying my best to pay homage to one of my biggest influences in art and a master truly.

Anyway this is it for this update! Thanks everyone checking out this space in here. My books are open in Berlin and planning my regular guest spots at Vienna… maybe Helsinki in the future. If you want to get in touch with me about a project write to my e-mail 🙂

Finished tattoo and a bunch of WIP

Hello everybody!

It’s been a while, but I’m very happy to be here to showcase some of my latest works. Lately, Instagram has become a nightmare of a platform for artists in every possible way. The only option for me to showcase my pieces is here on this website. Who knows if anyone will ever see them, but oh well, at least I’m leaving them here for whoever is curious!”

I am starting off with a full front that I finished on Lara. Her sleeve (which also has a snake) is made by me too! It was an older tattoo, and she came back after a while to get something even bigger and more painful. It took us 1 year to finish this project! Thank you so much again for the good talks, the good company, and all the flowers you brought me 🙂

Lara’s tattoo! Even if its censored here, Instagram wanted me to remove it hahaha.

Leg piece for Katherina, in progress

Hello people of the internet!

I am trying to prove that yes – I will take my website more seriously and keep it as active as I can 🙂

I’ve been working on a very awesome project lately that I want to show you guys the progress of it. Katherina contacted me some years ago – we did a piece around her belly, and after, she decided that she wanted to extend towards both legs. The concept for this project is about life and death, so one side of her body represents life and the other, of course, will represent death (once we finish with one leg) She loves the beauty and the decay of the natural world and she trusted me with my vision for her transformation. It’s been a real pleasure of mine to start such a big, complex tattoo for her! We both are enjoying the process, even if it’s a long one… for me, as a tattoo artist, being able to push my own limits in a piece this big it’s what I enjoy the most of my work. If you want to cover a huge area of your body, don’t hesitate to write!

Mostly all line-work is healed. Color is fresh same as some of the scales.

Progress pieces from Berlin.

Hello guys!

Well, it’s been more than a while. When was the last time I posted something here? Ages ago. Anyway I thought to try to get back to it until… Who knows? Instagram takes most of my time which sucks big time! I wished we could get a bit more old-school respecting the internet. But well, I’ve been complaining about it a bit too much lately to my latest customer’s, so guys if you are reading this forgive this lady. Also thank you for not complaining about me singing songs 80% of the time in the sessions. I am always surprised at how you guys can stand my terrible voice!

Let’s go back to tattoos. I’ve had a lot of unfinished pieces that I thought I’d share.

Anne’s cover – up! Tough cookie!
Annika’s underboob. She is always coming again for more!
Caro’s Shintaro Kago’s inspired piece!
Fredrik’s sleeve, master of programming Candy Crush.

I will get into the details of these pieces once I get to finish them. It’s always exciting for me to work on big-scale projects/medium ones! Thanks to everybody coming to get such awesome pieces with me!

Remember that if you do want a tattoo you can write me to bookingwithcat@protonmail.com 🙂

Thanks!

Tattoos from Berlin

Good evening anybody who is reading this!

I am bringing to you more news from my latest works. Working in Das Kabinett had been very productive for me, even after the virus situation. I’ve doing some flash lately, and Elina decided to take one bloody swan from it. I specially like this piece, as it’s a cool mix between a more classical neo-traditional with a touch of organic illustration. The color makes it pop in a very strong red in contrast with the delicate head of the animal. I would love to do more pieces like this in the future.

Elina’s arm
A more general view of her arm! The color of it matches her hair and other pieces she has.

Apart of this piece, I also did a pretty beautiful peony on Nicky. This was custom. Would love to do more peonies in the future, flowers are always very nice to work on!

Thanks for watching, hope you all enjoyed this pieces and see you next time :),
